Rob Abercrombie, CPA, attended the University of Utah, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Accounting Degree in 2005 and a Master of Accountancy Degree in 2006. Since that time, he has worked in public accounting as an auditor. Rob joined Haynie & Company in 2019 and is an audit partner in our Salt Lake City office. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Rob recently started serving on the Mountain West Capital Network Board.
Rob’s areas of expertise includes auditing SEC companies and private for-profit businesses in several different industries. He understands the best practices in business, accounting and internal controls. He has developed expertise in complex accounting and has a high-level understanding of GAAP. Rob enjoys building long lasting relationships with his clients which allows him to be a trusted advisor.
Rob enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three kids. They love hiking and playing with their family dog, who is a Bernese Mountain Dog named Elsee. Additionally, Rob and his family love going to sporting events, especially Weber State and University of Utah football games. In his free time, Rob enjoys playing golf.
