On March 25, 2021 the Senate passed legislation, previously passed by the House of Representatives, extending the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) two months through May 31, 2021 and provides an additional 30 days beyond May 31st for the SBA to process the applications.  At press time, the legislation was on the President’s desk awaiting his expected signature.  Fair warning, the SBA has said to expect the existing PPP funding to run out sometime in mid-April 2021 if Congress does not appropriate more funding.
