29 Jul 2021 Haynie Gives: Climbing for Kids 2021
Haynie Colorado is proud to support Climbing for Kids. Our team will summit Mt. Bierdstadt to support Children’s Hospital Pediatric Mental Health Institute. Haynie & Company Audit Manager, Christine McLeod, organized our company team for this event. Christine says, “The Colorado team is excited to support a great cause while enjoying some time together in our beautiful mountains! Even those not interested in doing the climb can support the team.” Donate to the team today.
Climbing for Kids is Aug. 6, 2021
Climbing for Kids is a 14’er mountain climb that benefits Children’s Hospital Colorado. The funds will specifically support Colorado children with mental health challenges. The Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Colorado served more than 6,500 children last year, but there is still much work to do.
Climbing for Kids aims to drive awareness and financial support for the care of children and families who require early prevention, ongoing therapy, and access to the medical professionals who can make a difference for kids who need it most…for the kids who have a much larger mountain to climb.

Mental Health Awareness
The suicide rate in Colorado is the 7th highest in the nation and suicide is the second leading cause of death among adolescents in our state. One in five youth are affected by mental illness. Early access to quality mental health care significantly improves outcomes.
