Chris Badger, CPA, is a CFO Solutions Director at Haynie & Company, bringing extensive experience in financial reporting, board management, and business development. Chris is a seasoned senior accounting professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries, including manufacturing, financial services, high-tech, and oil and gas.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School. Chris began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen in tax before transitioning into controller and CFO roles. A licensed Certified Public Accountant, he also shares his knowledge as an instructor for the Becker CPA Review course, teaching auditing and financial reporting.
Chris’s expertise includes strategic corporate management, financial and operational reporting, and board and investor relations. In addition to his accounting acumen, Chris has significant experience in human resources, health insurance benefits, and retirement plans, including 401(k)s, Top Hat plans, ESOPs, and both Qualified and Non-Qualified Profit Sharing Plans. He has also overseen IT functions, customer service, and administrative operations.
