Billy R. Bradford Jr., CPA, partner of Haynie & Company, operates out of the Brownsville, Texas office. His 38 years in public accounting began after graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1981. His first job was with a large, international firm for 4 years, after which he returned to Brownsville and became a partner in a regional firm until 2019. He has been a CPA since 1984.
Billy holds the earnest belief of giving back and enriching the locality. His love of the community is reflected in the many organizations he was involved in and continues to serve. These include the Brownsville Public Utilities Board, the Rotary Club of Brownsville, Southmost Regional Water Authority, Brownsville Medical Center, Valley Regional Medical Center, and the Texas Water Development Board. He currently serves as a board member for the Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation.
Billy has specialized knowledge in auditing, forensic accounting, and litigation support. He takes enormous pride in the quality of work that is provided to each client and has made it a priority to not just be knowledgeable, but to present work with the highest standards.
He has been married to his wonderful wife, Leatrice, for 35 years. They have two fantastic sons, Nick and Mitch. In his off time, you can find him hunting, fishing, or at the golf course enjoying the beautiful weather, year-round, that South Texas provides.
