Andrew J. Moore, CPA has almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, internal auditing, corporate finance and governmental audit engagements. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. During his time at Regional and National accounting firms, Andrew had the opportunity to supervise several large governmental audit engagements including one of the 10 largest US cities along with major housing authorities and several large local school districts.
Andrew is responsible for leading the day-to-day audit fieldwork for a number of charter school audits and other not-for-profit organizations, as well as providing extensive financial consulting services to those organizations. In addition, because of his background in both commercial and governmental accounting, Andrew has extensive experience testing and evaluating internal control environments for compliance with OMB A-133 requirements and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Outside of the office, Andrew serves as Treasurer of Youth 180 in Dallas that provides substance abuse prevention, intervention and treatment programs to at risk youth. Andrew is married to his wife Elisa and they have 5 children. As a native New Zealander, he enjoys the outdoors, hiking and food gardening. However, an extensive part of his free time is spent restoring and driving classic cars with his family.
