Texas Baptist Children’s Home | December 2020
Haynie & Company’s Austin Team had the opportunity to collect toys and canned food for the Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock this month. In addition, we connected with an amazing and generous store in Austin, Greek & Unique, to pick up new colorful blankets and clothing items.
An overflowing trunk of gifts included snuggly sweatshirts, lovely raincoats, and striped rugby shirts. A thank you to Lisa Lewis and her Greek & Unique Team for adding these gorgeous gift items to the Haynie & Company holiday donations. These donated items will be lovingly displayed at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home Christmas Store.
Each December, a team of volunteers and staff provide a curated Christmas experience for the TBCH families to shop and select items for their kids for the holidays. Thank you to Brenda Gilbert and Libbie Seaton, who run Volunteer Services at TBCH, and help daily with the mission of their team. This wonderful home helps “…embrace children and families in need in order to empower and equip them for a promising future.”
